To do (before Monday AM):
Read all 11 books for the class.
Write a paper — due on our first day of class in Athens.
PACK.
Make sure my suitcase weighs less than 50 lbs.
Put together some amazing, updated playlists for my ipod.
Go see Sex and the City 2.
Say goodbye.
Wait for the realization of this trip to sink in. It hasn’t yet.

Exhausted. Happy beyond belief. Feeling accomplished. Tonight: Catching up on the many Glee and Office episodes I’ve missed! Relaxing for the first time in about 7 months. Uploading millions of pictures. Reminding myself that I leave for Athens a week from tomorrow morning.
So. HAPPY.
Saying Goodbye to Biloxi...
I can’t believe our trip is almost over. Finished up our work sites today… enjoyed dinner and danced our asses off tonight at The Shed. Spending tomorrow in New Orleans for round two… flight to Buffalo tomorrow night. Home on Sunday afternoon! I can’t believe how fast this trip went.

Progress.
We finally met the owner of the house we’ve been pouring our sweat and blood into for the past three days. Nothing gives you motivation to finish what you’ve started until you’ve talked to the person who has lost everything. This man has been living in a FEMA trailer since Katrina. His belongings are scattered everywhere. And the worst part is that his story mirrors SO MANY. Too...

ARRIVAL!
The Eagle has landed… in Biloxi, Mississippi! After a day of exhaustion and fun in New Orleans (I’m not really sure why my head isn’t hitting the keyboard by now…) we are finally at Camp Victor. This week is a blur. Watching friends graduate tomorrow… so surreal. Flying to New Orleans on a 6:00 AM flight out of Buffalo, Sunday AM. Back to WP in a week.
I need a month of nothing but sleeping and catching up on Glee.
Bliss.
I can’t even explain how happy I am.
Up and at ‘em in a few hours for a two and a half hour drive home. Celebrating Mother’s Day with one amazing mama. Back to Geneseo on Monday to take my last final, write my last paper, close my building, enjoy the final fun times with my Genesee hall staff, ETC. Working at commencement on Saturday, the 15th… watching some friends...
